GTA IV

Grand theft auto is an action-adventure video game developed
by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. This game was released for
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 29 April 2008 and for Microsoft Windows on 2
December. Gta IV is set in Liberty City
and it is based on modern day in New York City. The character Niko Bellic, who
has been sent into the United States to search someone important, but becomes more,
tangled in the world of gangs, crime and corruption. This game makes you feel
like yourself as you do real-life basis things that a normal person would do
but just a little different in this game but in this game you can, drive around
in luxury cars, fly in helicopters, go clubbing, make new friends, do missions,
have guns and the life that is unexpected. Grand theft Auto IV ‘s story mode
can be beaten in less 30 hours, and there are so many optional activities and
side missions to take part in along the way that you can comfortably double
that number if you’re in no hurry. The majority of the story missions task you
with making delivers/or killing people. Some of the more imaginative missions sprinkled
throughout the story including kidnapping, a bank heist and a job interview.
Gta Iv is rated 18 but from my assumption children start
playing it from the age group of 12-20, the language that is used in Gta IV is
not suitable for under 15’s or 14’s. The language in this game has quite a lot
of swearing but they have used this language because the front of the game it
is rated 18 so that’s why there would be swearing in the game. The affect I would say that this videogame
brings out to children is a bad influence especially children because in the
game for example you can have guns and kill people children would think it’s
acceptable to do it and the case would also be that there might be a family
member at the age of 3-7 that would think if someone’s killing person then it
is alright to go out and kill people. However I think this game is a enjoyable
game to play except the killing of people but other than that I find this game
fun to play and do missions that are unexpected.
The reviews on Gta iv that are good are
·

·
Funny radio and TV shows, comedy acts and
character dialogue.
·

The bad:

·
Bad influence
·
Nudity
·
Not much to do online playing
Manita, an impressive start to media from you - and a brilliant, original fruitbowl! Keep up the effort and contribution in class too.
ReplyDeleteWWW: Well done, professionally presented and formatted. A great start to Media.
WWW: Keep up with this level of writing accuracy and you’re on your way to the grade you deserve. Well done.
EBI: All the work was present and uploaded onto the blog.
Action: Make sure you have (as a bare minimum) Holiday Research / LIAR analysis of poster / Fruit bowl / Camera angle – shot type analysis [check others blogs to see what you ought to have]
EBI: Your analysis was deeper – the examiner will want to know of any inferences you could make based on the evidence that was in front of you.
Action: FULLY explain all of your points, including why you think the audience is of a certain demographic and exactly what effect the colours/images/institution/reputation would have had on the target audience
If you concentrate on the depth of your analysis of LIAR (look at Laura's blog for an idea of the depth I'm looking for).
Well done,
Sir.
